January 22 was "Right to Life Sunday." This week we remember with sadness the 1973 Supreme Court decision which legalized abortion, praying that God would turn hearts, so that love and protection are granted for the unborn here and around the world. Sunday January 29 is a fifth Sunday, whien we have a single joint morning worship service at 10:00 am, with Sunday School beginning at 8:40. Pastor Roff will return to the sermon series through the Gospel of Luke, looking at "Christian Counter-Culture" in the Sermon on the Mount over the next few weeks. On Sunday evening, the question from Joshua 5 will be "On Whose Side Is Jesus?" It's time to register for the "Rekindling the Vision" Conference on Saturday, Feb. 4 with Ranald Macaulay. As a former director of Francis Schaeffer's English L'Abri, he will describe the Christian response to an increasingly secular, humanist culture. Call the church office to register.
