A congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) www.pcanet.org. We are a confessional church committed to the inerrancy of the Bible, the historic doctrines of the Reformed faith, and the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
Our Goal: It is our desire to impact our city and surrounding regions with the Biblical message of Jesus Christ, that as a community, so freed and transformed, we would worship God, invite others to experience His life-changing power, and reach people around the world for His glory.
2014 Theme Verse "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest." Luke 10:2
Annual Missionary Conference
October 12 - 19
Fall season 2014 Ministry Schedule:
Sunday School for all ages at 9 am; Worship at 10:30 and at 6 pm. Childcare available at each time.
Wednesday night dinners at 5:45 pm include a fascinating DVD program about the beauties of God's creation and the evidences of His handiwork (sometimes known as "Intelligent Design") followed by prayer meeting and choir rehearsal.
Children and Teen weekly youth groups meet from 5:30 to 7:30 on Fridays, and include pizza supper.
On the second Sunday of each month ("Bring a Guest Sunday"), there will be a covered dish luncheon following morning worship.
Sunday, October 26, is Reformation Sunday, celebrating Martin Luther's "95 Theses," posted in Wittenberg, Germany on October 31, 1517. This event called the church back to its central truth ... justification by faith alone. We'll celebrate that this coming Sunday in our 10:30 am morning worship and especially in our Reformation Festival Service at 6 pm, when we'll be joined by pastors and members from a number of nearby churches. We will celebrate the 500th anniversary of the birth of Scottish Reformer John Knox, with a sermon from Dr. Mark Dunn, himself of Scottish origins. Our midweek dinner at 5:45 on Wednesday will be followed by part 5 in our DVD series on creation and intelligent design. Time is running out to sign up for our annual men's retreat up at Camp Pinnacle on Oct. 31 - Nov. 2.
